House of Magool was created from a simple idea: to make Somali traditional dresses with the care and quality they deserve.

We started House of Magool because we felt there was a lack of beautifully made Somali dresses that were ready to wear. For weddings and special occasions, finding the right dress often meant buying fabric, finding a tailor and having everything made from scratch. We wanted to make that process easier.

We began with the Guntino, one of the traditional dresses worn by Somali women for generations. Our first pieces take inspiration from its history and character, while giving it a new expression made for today.

House of Magool is about celebrating Somali dress through carefully made pieces that feel beautiful, effortless and relevant today.
